A very simple sensory story might run like this: One day a man went for a walk and it started raining. (spray water droplets to imitate rain). The rain got heavier and heavier. (Bang a drum to make the sound of heavy rain). WebbChildren could collaborate with their peers to create their own sensory story of a favourite book. This activity also works well on a virtual platform. Send the children on a simple scavenger hunt around their homes before reading the story together. Connecting to the real thing.
