The old A5 works fine now - the empties eject properly and land 10 to 15 feet away. But rudolph31 is right - at 15 bucks a box those shells aren't cheap! I haven't loaded shotgun shells in 40 years, but I've ordered a MEC 600 Jr. and plan to get back in the game.

My personal preference is to use 2½-inch shells all the time, even in a 2¾-inch chambered gun, just to play it safe.
